To fund the many initiatives and community outreaches that we do, the Altrusa Club of Meredith hosts the annual Festival of Trees and Silent Auction held each year in late November/early December, 2008 will mark the 13th annual Festival of Trees and the 3rd annual Festival of Trees Silent Auction. The Festival of Trees is the largest fundraiser for Altrusa and has become a family tradition in the Lakes Region. Be sure to look for announcements each year about the Festival and make it part of your holiday tradition.

Altrusa has become well known at the craft fairs held each year at Mill Falls for selling the most delicious hot dogs in the area! Each year we set-up grill at the spring and fall craft fairs and sell fresh off the grill hot dogs and beverages to those attending and working at the craft fairs. So follow the aroma and visit the Altrusa grill while visiting the craft fairs at Mill Falls.

Each year Altrusa participates in the annual community wide yard sale held in Meredith. We can be found selling treasures in the front yard of Meredith’s Chamber of Commerce. So stop by and get a bargain during this community wide annual event in Meredith.

Additional fundraising is done each year by Altrusa members who work at the Sandwich Fair and the Rotary Fishing Derby.
