| Scholarships
for Non-Traditional Students |
We are very
proud to give several scholarships annually to non-traditional
students returning to continue their education.
ASTRA, an acronym formed from Ability,
Service, Training, Responsibility and Achievement, is
the name for the youth groups sponsored by Altrusa Clubs
as part of their program of community service.
ASTRA clubs are comprised of young
people between the ages of 12 and 20. Meredith has a
small but active ASTRA club and we are always looking
for interested young women to join and participate.
We are involved
in several literacy and reading promotions for children
and adults.
We have a disaster
relief fund for victims of fire or other disasters.
